I called them a few months ago looking for a print for the barrel side of things, so I could double check the measurements I took and they told me their policy didn't allow them to release any dimensions. Why you would advertise your action as capable of accepting prefits, but then not provide the dimensions the PreFit barrel needs to be made to is beyond me, but that is the route they took.

Weird. I had already measured a couple Tenacity's when I called so I had a pretty close idea of what it was but they wouldn't even confirm which end of my window their target dimension fell on. It's possible that my charming personality was the issue..... Lol

Its funny how secretive they are yet the other mfrs put their specs out for the masses. Youd think they would make it easier on their customers to use their products.

They have not held the specs close enough in my experience to put out a print. The new ruckus action is supposed to hold headspace tolerance to .001" and I would assume they will put out a print for that one.

You mean they actually answered the phone? Last time I tried a couple months ago, VM said emails only.

That was March/April. Lots of other choices out there but I wanted a lightweight action for a mountain hunt this fall. Its a nice action, but to the best of my knowledge there's nothing proprietary about the threads. Like Alex mentioned, ya wonder about specs from action to action.

Unless your "prefit" is like a Savage and uses a barrel nut, I don't think there is anyway I'd screw on a prefit barrel without having some way to check headspace and bolt clearance. Having a barrel shank drawing isn't much help either. It isn't very common to be able to supply actions with headspace dimensions that I could make barrels for and ship them to a customer without having the action in hand.

Thats false assumption,

Accuracy international rifle have prefits made they a wide variety of barrel makers. And I have never had one not headspace.

Bighorn has the same dimensions for every reciever.

Impact action is another.

Lonepeak actions

Defiance ruckus and tenacity take prefits made without the actions hand.

I am pretty sure Stiller Post 2017 action have the same dimensions as Impact actions and take the prefits barrel made for them.

Panda action all share the same dimensions
