I have 200 new lapua 6 br brass and when I went to square the primer pockets I found them to be to deep for my sinclair tool to reach. It barely scratches the very outside of the primer pocket, but won't even touch closer to the flash hole. Has anyone else found this to be the case?
I am fine with this other than after I deprime I like to use the primer pocket squaring tool to remove the fired primer residue. I just turn it in my cases by hand and it works great to clean them out.
I don't like the "clustered wire" cleaners to remove the residue, it seem like it scratches up the pockets to much, and over time may remove to much brass.
Any cleaning advice would be appreciated
