uniforming tight Alpha primer pockets

I don’t know if all alpha small rifle primer cases are the same diameter (I would assume so) so I’ll speak to the 6ppc only. There are tools out there that only uniform the depth without enlarging the pocket diameter. PMA Tool makes one specifically for alpha and the benchrite tool also works great. I’m sure there are others. Just measure the diameter of the uniforming tool cutter before using. Anything bigger than .170-.171 is going to scrape the walls.
