With a 1/8 moa click you could get 3.625 moa. 29 clicks. Does that make it easier?Ok, so I understand moa adjustments for the most part...but I have a problem when the moa solution is fractional, like 3.6, 7.3 etc. Is 3.6 rounded down to 3 and a half moa (14 clicks) or up to 3-3/4 moa (15clicks) ? Might be a simple question, but really has me stumped...rsbhunter
Sorry I was just kidding. Yes. You have to round it to .25 .50 .75. 1moa at 500 is 5” .25 moa at 500 is 1.25”. So at 500 1 1/4 “ adjustments is all you get. Of course somebody’s gonna call me a dummy. 1.0472 yeh, yeh.Not when I'm using a 1/4" moa scope, if I had 1/8" adjustments, yes it would be awesome....in the competition I shoot, its at ranges of 200-500 meters.... So 1/4 moa shrinks the margin of error greatly...rsbhunter
Your scopes will live a longer and healthier life if you DO crank them a lot. Scopes that never move fail a lot more often than those that get their exerciseI didn't take offense, I wish I had gone with 1/8 moa.... It kind of scares me dialing alot with 1/8 moa. I know scopes are tougher today than ever, but everything is halved for adjustments, and it takes twice the wear and tear on the turrets.... But it would be fantastic to have the precision of the 1/8 moa....Thank you very much for the responses, it does help alot...rsbhunter
