Decapping tools

Currently have Lee and RCBS univeral decapping dies, but the pins are too large for small primer holes in Lapua PPC and BR brass, so I chucked the lee pin up in a drill press and ground it down till it would work, but I want something quicker and that doesn't force me to change dies when loading between targets at a benchrest match. Went to PMA to buy a Lenzi, not available, and couldn't find one elsewhere. Frankford Arsenal looks similar, but negative reviews, and price makes me think quality might not be there. What else are benchrest shooters using who want to decap prior to resizing?

I have a Harvey decapper but quite frankly it’s a pain in the ass to use so I mainly size and decap with a Wilson or Harrel’s FL die.

Hornady decap pins, fit in the rcbs unit. They will work on ppc and br brass. It's a stepped pin. Flawless.

Not a benchrest shooter, but I use the Harvey almost exclusively.

Interesting. I once deprimed 2K of 5.56 Federal brass with crimped in primers with the Harvey and no problems. Needed to get the smaller decapping ram for the smaller flash holes. But it is easier to find the flash hole in the cases with smaller necks.

It took a time or two using it but after I got the hang of it I can decap without even looking at brass or tool...

Forgot to mention the Harvey I have has small pin for .059" brass but I have used on 243/308 brass also ....
