Currently have Lee and RCBS univeral decapping dies, but the pins are too large for small primer holes in Lapua PPC and BR brass, so I chucked the lee pin up in a drill press and ground it down till it would work, but I want something quicker and that doesn't force me to change dies when loading between targets at a benchrest match. Went to PMA to buy a Lenzi, not available, and couldn't find one elsewhere. Frankford Arsenal looks similar, but negative reviews, and price makes me think quality might not be there. What else are benchrest shooters using who want to decap prior to resizing?

I use Redding decaping dies on a
RCBS junior, sizing and seating is done on my Rock chucker my ram stays clean and smooth.
For me, I like to decap before cleaning and sizing so that pockets get cleaned when tumbled. Just the way I do it.
After sizing thousands, some with off center flasholes, I've never broke a pin. Its a tank. Even enlarged some small flash holes, no issues

Not a benchrest shooter, but I use the Harvey almost exclusively.
Interesting. I once deprimed 2K of 5.56 Federal brass with crimped in primers with the Harvey and no problems. Needed to get the smaller decapping ram for the smaller flash holes. But it is easier to find the flash hole in the cases with smaller necks.

I use the Mighty Armory decapper and have for a couple of years. Works great and would get another one if my loading room blows up.

I took my Lee decapper and chucked it in a drill and ran it over a fine file till I got the diameter of the pin to .057. Works great. JMW
