Dear people who type in all lowercase

Used to call the casino operator and ask them to page my friend. Jack Meoff. Good for at least one laugh a month,
Is your refrigerator running? Better go catch it! Ahhh those wild and heady days of 6th grade.....and before caller ID!

On a moment of seriousness. I can read through all caps, miss spelled words etc. But for the life of me, I find it hard to follow what someone is asking a question when there are no punctuation marks of any kind. Sometimes I would have liked to give and answer, but with everything is all run together, I just give up.
Feel free to resume the criticizing. ;)

Lloyd

It makes him look literate, though.

I'd rather appear literate and small rather than illiterate, which is how bad grammar makes one appear.

All upper case on the internet is not emphasis, that's achieved on the internet with italics or bold fonts. All upper caps has always been shouting, all lower caps is illiteracy.

yes I'm 1 of them deplorable people.

My old eyes like all caps regardless what people think. Much ado about nothing.

Just to please the OP, I normally try to type correctly. However, with two Grandchildren trying to climb in my lap, and the little one pulling the keys off the keyboard, I don't find it to be my highest priority. Also, if a moderator happens to read this, will you please, please put an end to this NONSENSE! (emphasis added)

On another note, don't forget Prince Albert in a can!

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, calling the grocery store and asking if they have Prince Albert in a can. When they say "yes", tell them to let him out...*

* anybody care to offer an opinion RE the correct usage?

many years ago when I went to school it was said that the written word was the most basic way of conveying thoughts and ideas as with most things in todays society the basics are being forgotten or ignored technology is now expected to take the place of skill today skill is defined as how easily you can work your gadgets and devices not what you as a human being possess in the form of self control self control being what it takes to achieve an end result without the aid of having a computer do your thinking for you

When I went to school, I had to write longhand the same way it was printed in the Palmer Penmanship book. If I didn't, I got my hand smacked with a 12" oak ruler. :( I had some of the best handwriting in class but now it's what they call chicken scratch.:D

iS this what you call bullying. You are complaining about people like me that are handicapped when is comes to grammar. I feel bad now:(o_O:confused:

Bullying makes a man out of wimps. PC is ruining our country....and BTW ...I think and talk like the Donald ( in like company) and neither one of us put on a facade to appeal to the masses.....we are the real deal. When the thought police determine our destiny...we are finished.

Poor spelling, poor grammar, and poor punctuation used to bug me but I finally realized not everyone had the "privilege" of eight or more years laboring under prison guards and the warden at the local Catholic school. :D In my case it was the St. Joseph Correctional Facility, now closed for lack of interest.

Most leave school in their late teens. Plenty of time to learn on their own if, they wish to.
