Dealing with poor performance in shooting

Bradley, a slower twist barrel would decrease the amount of torque you're experiencing and may be a better "fit" for the lighter bullets commonly used in 100/200BR.

As for your group sizes, don't believe everything you read. If it was easy, these internet heroes would be shooting matches.

I experienced torque issues in hp too. I built a rem 700 for hp in one of those tall prone stocks and even in 223 with. 1-8 the torque was awful. The spacegun tube fore end was much better in the same twist. That tall ended prone stick torqued like crazy in the sling.

If I had the wherewithal I would design a front bag with three compartments. Twos for the ears and one for the bottom. I would give the ears a slight upside down j shape and the ears would be harder than the bottom. To capture the stock top and bottom around the undercut.

A front sandbag that "traps" the forearm is illegal in centerfire BR. To be legal the gun has to be able to be lifted straight up out of front rest easily. I dont know if youre planning on shooting registered matches or not, so it may not matter to you.....im just saying.

to farther illustrate what markr has said i was at a match 2weeks ago that was all 200 yards. i think they had 30 paid up and out of 20 targets for each shooter over 2 days there was one target under .250 inch

Bill Shehane just told me that yesterday. He did say that I was correct that the bag should easily capture the undercut of the stock. I actually called to find out if had a "bag trainer" for my stock. A block that was made for traing the front bag to fit the contour of my stock.

He did. He also said my bag is too hard packed and should mold easier... But he did say without a doubt the fast twist guns will jump if not bagged properly.

So I bought a block and I think I will take some sand out and retrain the front bag to wrap around but not like in a vise.

...bu on Snipers Hide they said they all have guns that will shoot that all day long....

You mentioned shooting a nice group in calm conditions so I am thinking a possibility could be you have everything down pretty good except for reading the wind flags.
May be way off base but that could easily be a limiting factor when aspiring for tiny groups at 200 yards.

I finally got my 100 yard backstop so I quickly shot some 3 shot groups right before dark (I had to mow my range).

Apparently, I am not shooting that bad. I had quite a few close to this... this was the smallest.

This is the Sierra 107/R15 30.5 /CC1 450 .020" OUT.
