If you’re willing to consider an alternative for Dave Short, I’ll vouch for Dave Bruno who is also located in western PA (near the town of Dayton).

Recently, Dave was referred to me by a mutual friend. I initially spoke with him on the phone. We then had a lengthy face to face. Another phone conversation followed to finalize my choices of components. I then commissioned a build with the gentleman. The examples of his work truly impressed me. I anxiously await the completion and rest easy, fully expecting a genuine tack driver.

Dave is in south western PA, about 30 min east of Pittsburgh

In my mind once you have made it to Monroeville, you are in the 'burgh. That's about thirty minutes right?

But then again, my closest neighbor is nearly a mile away and that is still too close.

Oh to have a massive ranch in Montana...

I just left Allegheny Ct for for Licking Ct Ohio. It’s by no means a Montana ranch, but I have two acres here and so far I’ve only noticed one car drive by this afternoon.

You are entirely correct.

In my mind, as soon as I get onto the Parkway, in Monroeville, I am "in the city".

I think, as a dumb country boy, once I hit that urban environment I just lump it all together in my mind.

Getting to Monroeville is the easy part, at the right time getting to the tunnel can turn into a parking lot..... jim
