Daughters first deer

Second year hunting with my 14 year old daughter. She decided she wanted a good buck, so we passed a few last year, and this year we had this one come in chasing a doe on the first eve. We were in the stand together. What a great experience. She made a perfect shot with the Savage 220. He ran 35 yds after heart shot and dropped dead. Very proud of her. She's hooked.

She killed it with 20 ga 2-3/4” Rem Accu-Tip. This 220 shoots the 3” load in tiny groups (I’ve shot 3 touching at 100 yds), but that deer stand has about a 100 yd max shot, so the 2-3/4” was chosen for slightly less recoil. Attached is a pic of the 45 cal bullet and the recovered one.

with the Model name. I have friend that has one but I just didn't know what the model number/name was. Thanks again.
