I have to get too close to make this go away. Is there an adjustment for this?
Same rifle model has a more expensive scope mounted at same distance and does not have this ring around the view.

I don't think eye relief is adjustable.

You can usually dial the power back to get better eye relief. It's tightest at the highest magnification.

Found my brain fart.
This one has a recoil pad that makes the length longer.
That little bit messes with fit.
Metal butt plate wanted.

Do you have room on the scope tube or base to slide the scope back a little? If you do, that will solve your issue.

The tube is back all the way.
I think I can turn the mounts around to help.
Also have other mounts I can try.
If I had a metal butt plate for a 700 would be easier.

Been consumed with barrel cleaning. Green patchitus This rifle came with 9 boxes of empties and no cleaning brush.
