Dark game camera picks

I am sure that everybody that has purchased a game camera has the same problem that I am having, pictures at night that are nothing but glowing eyes. My question is, are there any tricks or things that can be done to increase the flash or a brand or camera that works well. Also what exactly is the infrared option that is offered on some camera models. Is this the answer to dark picks? I would love some help. Thanks.

The glowing eyes only, probably just means the critter was not close enough to the camera..
Nothing cam be done to increase the flash....
The infrared don't make a flash like the other do, but the photo's are not all that nice to look at compared to a regular flash camera. Some folks claim that the flash will spook deer, and that is just not true.. I have lots of photo's taken with a flash where the deer have seen the flash 5 times in as many minutes and still stand there doing their thing without getting all wild eyed and spooking...
All my game camera with the exception of one old Bushnell, are Cuddebacks and the flash will go out to at least 60 foot or more......
I don't see the need to buy another infrared, the Cuddeback Flash Capture is under $200.00 ......

Go to trailcamera.net and there is a lot to read. They have reviews and product information.
I have several Moultrie I40's and they are really clear even at night. The IR flash works really well.
I have a stealthcam with a regular flash and the only time I have seen the eyeball thing is if there is a branch or something that lights up in front of the deer. Make sure when you set it up there is nothing between the camera and the deer.
