DANTEC -- How is the Dasher Die Deal Going?

DANTEC,

I noted on the old board that you were putting together a group buy for Forster dies for the Dasher. I just got a Forster Ultra Micrometer Seater and I like it as much as my Redding Comp except that the index marks are hard to read. It is very solid and repeatable and the fit of the sliding sleave,for a std. 6BR case) is BETTER than the Redding.

What's the status of the group order? Have you got blueprints for the dies?

from accuracy side no real diffrence between Redding and Forster, I just prefer Forster because they are less cosly and micrometer head doesn t feel "rubber " as Redding

I agree than a Redding competition with a real micrometer "clics " will be a great tool

6 DASHER die status

I ahve store all mails let on the previous board

I have make a drawing chamber and specs

I request a special run of 20 set of die from Forster as
1 full sizer
1 neck sizer
1 regular seater, not ultra BR ) because I want to keep price low and Ultr ahead can purchase after as an option

probably get new from Forstez in one/two weeks

I take in the US for a domestic dealer as a real good gunsmith to avoid shipping in Europe and ship back in the USA

6 DASHER will be made on regular Pacific Tool drawing, to match the reamer to the set of die, for tighter neck as 0.271 the neck die can be convert for bushing use .

the dies making company works now on the project and price will be know soon, one or two from now )
