Clearing out some favorites to pay for a huge move across many states for my work.
This is a custom Dan Dowling built Remington 700 single shot in 7mm STW.
Features:
- Jewell trigger with safety and bolt release; beauty and set light
- LRI bushed bolt with double ejector and mini-16 extractor
- 31” Schneider barrel with brake, .905 at brake end, finished with signature swizzle look; believe it is a 1:9 twist
- single shot sled installed in the receiver
- McMillan Bench stock with pad, no notches or dings
- steel weaver-style scope bases installed
- includes Redding full length, seater, and neck dies
-includes loaded ammo in some 7mm STW stamped brass, and some loaded 8mm REM mag resized to 7mm STW.
*- includes some Berger VLD hunting 180Gr bullets (~50 new, 15-20 pulls)
*- includes 200 Sierra 168 gr Match HPBT bullets
The gun shoots in the high .3’s to .7 range at 100yds, depending on bullet shape and weight and of course the load consistency. Likes VLD’s and JLK’s. Barrel has some wear, with probably 900 rounds through it, but still shoots well.
