Dan Armstrong Bolt welding

Trying to contact Dan Armstrong about tig welding my bolt handle back on.
About a couple of years ago I had a Aftermarket bolt handle silver soildered on my Remington 700 bolt and was shooting it today when it came off. I like the handle and would like to keep it but looking for a more permanent solution. It has a PTG bolt body on it and the barrel and trigger are out of the action so I could send the bolt and action to you for repair and proper extraction timing please contact me about the repair.
Thanks
David

Only advice i can give is follow his instructions to the letter and forget it. Dont try to ask questions, or communicate at all. If you do what his website tells you to youll get your bolt back perfect. He doesnt need your action, or any other parts. Its a different way of doing business and if you dont adhere to his protocol he will tell you to put your bolt in an uncomfortable place.

Maybe I was lucky, he talked my ear off.
Super friendly, and very informative about Remington actions.
I had my bolt back in a couple of weeks and it works better than it ever did.

Same here. We usually talk for a good bit and he's always been friendly. Sometimes people are just busy and come across wrong to others. Dan's work is superb and he knows what he's talking about when it comes to locating and welding bolt handles on. Never a problem nor a complaint here.

I think he is a very talented welder and the last word on Remington bolts and timing them. But he is so outspoken against my Christian faith that He has been on my ignore list for many years.

Chad Dixon at Long Rifles Inc offers this service as well.

Were you "preaching" at him or just wanting your bolt welded??;)
I've watched my Dad lose LOTS of friends by being a "head hunter".
Sometimes the less said the better. ;)
