i have a dakota predator rifle in 20 tactical bought from a gun dealer here in ENGLAND.had it since may 06; its had 260 rounds through it.up till now no problems with fouling; rifle is used for vermin shooting fox/rabbit/crow.It is very accurate
with 32&40 v-max just got hold of some 40 gn BERGERS any nice loads out there?.

up until now all my loads are taken from TODD KINDLERS TERRIFIC TWENTIES book,best thing i have read in years}.these plus a bit of tweaking;will powders that are good for 223 do the job?. If so any data would be appreciated.

Be real careful using Todd's loads they are more than a little on the warm side.!

I spoke to TODD KINDLER on the phone when i ordered my dies from him.He did make very clear to load with caution as we all know no two rifle/powder/ bullet recipe are the same.

Today my subscription to small calibre news arrived 3 back issues.I will scour these for loads.Todd also asked if i would send him some photos of red foxes i have shot these last 3 months;i am hoping to sort this for him.

Have you looked at the 20 Caliber Guide here on 6mmBR.com? There are some Tactical 20 loads you can use.

I looked on the 20 calibre page; worked up some loads for 40 berger match shot them this morning the weather over here is a little blustery but still managed to put some good groups on paper.shot off a small home made rest with harris BR bipod.

REL 10-24.5 gns 5 shots '446 2 shots into 1 hole.

VIT ni33-25.5 gns 4 shots .411 1 shot pulled.

I then shot 5 into .678 with ni35 shot off cross sticks which i use when walking/lamping foxes.
