Daisy eaters die under fire...

Thanks Shoebox! Been having so much fun just fireforming brass for this thing. Nearing on 600 pcs. of formed brass now...

Hadn't fished that (neighbor's) pond in a few years. The bass were HUNGRY! Was using an ultralight spinner w/ weedless Powerworm. Will also be switching to the flyrod next time, that'll be a real hoot!!!

Ok, got good news and bad news!
Good news is, got a bunch more chucks killed on vid-cam!
Bad news is, while re-playing the footage and editing out non-kill clips, I accidentally re-formatted the hard drive on my vid-cam....which deleted EVERY VIDEO off the camera's memory

Literally, every deer/coyote & chuck hunt from the last several years has been erased. Sure screwed the pooch on that maneuver! So, there goes about 30 chuck kills, and about a zoen deer & coyote hunts...

Anyway, did snap a couple pics with the phone, per usual. .223AI is still makin' grins, and my trusty chuck retriever was all too happy to oblige! 187yds, 75Amax...

Felt as though I'd been neglecting the 6x47L, so took that out and gave it some love! Got two chucks, 285yds and 320yds on video (never to bee seen again), but here they are...

And now for the messy side, courtesy of the 87Vmax...

Had a quick shower pass over, and headed out to one of my local honey holes. Didn't take long for a 'chuck to pop out into the wet grass @ 220yds. Got this one on phone video, will get that uploaded since I didn't delete it, LOL

Finally, the chuck retriever got a YOY, unassisted, at the house. Was on the mower, looked over and saw him shakin' the bejeez outta somethin'...crazy nut!!!

All in all, nice weekend! Just gotta start from scratch on the videos & lookin' forward to gettin' back after it!

My dog is a general nuisance to most vermin & I think he hates chucks as much as coons!

Those are Premier 5-25x56s, now discontinued.

Two of snert's farms have yet to be cut, and I promised him video documentaries from them when they're ready for whackin'! Hoping we can get together in a few weeks to get after it!

Keep hoping Fredo...they just declared state of emergency in the town I lived in 4 days ago...flooding! Guess the whole hillside was washing down into Cortland. Mess.

Considering that those farms are "occupied" by low drive farmers, I bet they cut once, maybe.

Remain hopeful! Things may get a little better in the near future. After two consecutive warm, dry days a fair number of fields in these parts have seen the mowers and the balers. I'm going to visit my farmer friend's fields this evening and see 'what's up'.

Definitely worse conditions out your former way, though. The West Canada and the Mohawk flooded but we haven't had hillsides let go.

Yeah guys, photobucket is done if the label you as a third party hoster. I switched to Imgur. Probably will get me there to if to many pics get shared. In any case, bout 5 years of good data wiped from one forum in one fell swoop. Oh well.
