CZ Synthetic stock

Are the synthetic stocks that come on the CZ 527 M 1 any good

They're pretty flimsy compared to the same thing in walnut/beech, but they're functional. IME the barrel channel/gap is pretty generous so there's room for the barrel to move relative to the stock. If you want to go up in mass for the barrel contour (e.g. 527 Varmint) then the stock will have to be made thinner, more flexible where it's more likely to contact the barrel. If you're not using a bipod or shooting from odd, improvised posiitions in a rush the the rubber stock is probably just fine.
