I'm glad it worked for you so far. At least from now on, you will know where to look if you have ejector issues.I checked the ejector this afternoon and cleaned it. Then I placed a live round in the chambered and it ejected fine. Next I tried a fired case and it also ejected. When the weather clears enough for me to do some target shooting, I'll see if the ejection issue is solved. <Thanks>
What causes the extractor to snap over the rim when single loading but not when feeding from a mag?forcing the Mauser style extractor to snap over the case rims when attempting to single load rounds
What causes the extractor to snap over the rim when single loading but not when feeding from a mag?
I had to work on the extractor on my 17 Badgers to get them to feed (snap over the rim) single shot without the clip.
Maybe CZ changed there extactor angle after I got mine.
Hi,Hi All, I have a very accurate CZ 527 in 7.62X39 M/M, which recently developed an issue with ejecting fired cartridges. The fired cartridge cases pull easy out of the chamber but remain on the bolt, thus not "Kicking" the fired catridge out of the action. This rifle is very well taken care of, so it's not a dirty action problem. Just wondering if anyone know why this CZ 527 is doing this, and what I can do to get it to eject fired cartridges normally. <Thanks>
