CZ customer service

I bought a CZ over/under in 20 gauge. It takes somewhere between 20 to 35 lbs of pressure on the top lever to open it. I sent it back and their response was "within specs". BS, been shooting over/under and single shot all my life. Never had a problem with the top lever. I passed it around the trap/skeet field and 2 people couldn't even unlock it. I have approx 800 rounds on it, so it is well broken in. Never and I mean never will I buy another CZ rifle or shotgun. It's a shame too, It shoots both barrels as straight as any gun I have owned, but to pull the WITHIN SPECS stuff and I am done.
Likely they don’t even have a spec for that.

CZ and CSG are the same company?
I see conflicting information on a quick search.

CSG does not list CZ as a holding, but does list the companies from their purchase of Vista Outdoors, which still seems to be pending.

CZ is also known as CZG (who also own Colt and Dan Wesson), which may be where some confusion exists.

I had a Ruger pistol jam first outing
fail to feed and eject
Called they emailed ship label to me , I shipped that Monday had pistol back on Friday with new slide and barrel assembly and the tech put a note in that said it was dependable now
And it has been perfect since
Wish all experiences were like that
This is good to hear, I sent a Ruger 3 screw 44 mag back to them once to have them rebarrel it
They reblued the gun, updated the hammer with new transfer bar style and rebarreled it
all for like $75 plus shipping
Nice to hear they are still awesome

I have needed CS from cz, ruger, Benelli, and winchester. CZ was great the first time, fixing my 452 17 hm2 that would not eject. Second time they said they would send a new screw for the front sight on my 452 lux. That was almost 20 years ago and im still waiting....Ruger has been the best. I have used their CS 3 times I think.

Two times I needed to contact CZ customer service. Neither time did I walk away with a warm fuzzy feeling
I'm not sure if the new CZ is the same as the old CZ that most of us used to post glowing reports on and I'm not just talking about customer service. They got rid of a lot of their really great firearms like the CZ 527 as one example. I looked at their site almost a year ago and I don't really think there was anything there I would want to buy.

This.

1. They stock nothing you need for the most part.
2. They are quick to discontinue support on their items.

A friend bought a 527 and had it threaded. The shop misplaced a part and claimed the part never was in their hands. CZ USA’s response……”We no longer support the model 527”. I ended up drawing the part based on my 527 and forwarded it to him. He felt it was too complex to make. If I recall correctly it was the mag catch. I recommended bypassing CZ-USA and requesting the part direct from the main office. I don’t think he ever did.
Years ago, CZ USA carried a lot of those 527 parts and would willingly sell them to end users unlike some of the companies that state "send in, fitting required.

I bought a CZ Alpha 600 and it would not group well at all. After checking all the normal things I sent it back to CZ. They were great to deal with as far as sending me a prepaid label etc. They responded quickly that the gun was defective and they would replace either the barrel or provide a new rifle…whichever they got first. Estimated time was 4 weeks and they were to send weekly updates. It has now been almost 12 weeks, no response from them, no answer to multiple emails, and no updates when I’ve gotten them on the phone. I’ve requested a refund but doubt that will happen. I’ve heard good things about them and I really liked this rifle…except that it wasn’t accurate…lol. It was on a special a while back from some company on the Monday specials so I gave it a try. Have others had this problem with CZ?
sounds like bergara
