CZ 527 or T3 .222.....Which would you pick?

That's double paper bag ugly!

There used to be a song a long time ago that said "If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life, make an UGLY WOMAN your wife!" and part way through the song I remember 2 guys talking and one asking the other "Is that your wife?...She SURE IS UGLY".......The other guy responded..."Yaaa but she SUUUUURE CAN COOK" I just wonder if.......never mind.
Thanks for the reminder of that great song.

Without starting a war, is the 222 a deer cartridge. Deer are not monsters. How big a bullet will the 222 do its' magic on???

I think they are legal in some states but there would be variables depending on terrain and target distance I would guess.
My Dad grew up on a North Dakota farm and they didn't have a lot of money but quite a few "city" guys would come out to hunt deer with their shiny 30 06's, 270's, 30 30's etc. I asked Dad one time what the best deer rifle was. He said he wasn't real sure but that he killed more deer with his .22 long rifle than any of those guys with the fancies ever dreamed of. As a kid he said would watch deer from a distance and wait until they laid down. He would then sneak up and belly crawl within 50 or 60 yards and shoot them between the eyes.
It was a different time then when they had to hunt to eat.

It seems overkill to run .222 in a Tikka long action. The 527 is properly sized to the cartridge and decent fit and finish (no plastic at least). I've got the 527 in .223 and it seems to shoot pretty well.
