CZ 527 and Burris Signature rings. UPDATE

Will be mounting medium height Sig Zee rings on a 527. I’ve seen a few picatinny rails designed for the CZ. If anyone has experience I am interested in the one which adds the least amount of height.

Thanks for your help!

UPDATE: Decided to go with the DIP Products mount. The cut out section over the ejection port was the selling point. Seems to be a quality item and installed easily.

Anything has to be better than the Leupold med hT. rings. I have to fit that stupid built in 11mm rail. I'm tagging this thread for better set ups. mike in ct

Hey Tommie, that's a CZ Picatinny rail and Leupold 6-18 on my 6mm FatRat with almost no barrel clearance for your info. Kevin

That’s awesome info. Two questions: are those low mounts and is the scope objective 50mm?
Thanks!
The scope is a 40mm and i believe they are low (pardon my shitty memory!), but that's why I layed the tape up there for ya so you can get an idea on center height when you order the rings. If you use Amazon, you can find the Leupold rings there in all sizes...so even if you get the wrong ones, you still can have another set by the end of the week and return the others....this rifle is how I know that, hahaha

Thanks for replying. Since I’m using Burris Sig Zee rings, low isn’t an option. Appears that the CZ picatinny mount should be just what the doctor ordered.

You might consider UTG 11mm to Weaver adapters. They are two piece and about as low as you can go. I use them with medium sig z rings on my CZ 455, CZ 512 and Nylon 66. Available on the bay for about $11 shipped.

Tried finding these but no luck. Could you post a link?

Unfortunately, I am a old fart and somewhat computer illiterate, i.e. ignorant on posting links. Never have done it. If you go to eBay, do a search for "dovetail to weaver adapter". Or go to pyramydair.com and look for part #PY-A-4148. They look like weaver bases that are split in half with a couple of small spring-loaded bars connecting them. They fit inside the base of the rings then you use the base screw on the rings to clamp to the 11mm dovetail on the rifles receiver. Adds minimal height.

I had read earlier in this thread that the dovetail was 11mm and based my suggestion off that. Upon further research it appears the 527 dovetail is actually 16mm. I don't believe the 11mm adapter I suggested is wide enough to fit the 16mm dovetail. Sorry for the confusion.
