Burris Signature Zee Rings

the Burris signature tactical rings also are massive if you want peace of mind IMHO they will make 3 of the zee rings, if you don't have wt issues, they come in a little case with a nice set of inserts 100.00, make sure you deburr the inserts lightly sand the edges break the sharp edges or kind of round them a bit

I have them on two rifles. Had them on 3 but went to offset rings on one. I just wish they made these in offset.

I use them on a lot of rifles. I had issues with them allowing the scope to move in a 7 STW that had a very heavy scope mounted in the 30mm signature rings, this caliber has a very fast recoil impulse.

I went with Ken Ferrel rings and bases.

That's a good application for the signature xtr rings with a much larger surface area and 6 screws.

I like them so much I use 4 on all my rifles, and XP's...

If you do this, you need to make sure they're aligned correctly cause the pivoting plastic ball no longer handles misalignment.

Whoops, meant to also say that signature rings are the only rings I use. They're on all my rifles.

The inserts make it great to adjust for added elevation if needed and you'll never damage a scope again. I never liked lapping scope rings and this takes that need away. I've used them on all of my new rifles the last 20 years and have never had an issue with them holding. This includes everything up to .300 Win Mag. and my .284 F class. Be sure to tighten them to spec.

I put Burris Signature rings on pretty much everything. 284? Heck, I have them on my 338 Edge. That is the only rifle I've ever had issues with them. The inserts weren't seated perfectly in the rings and with that recoil the scope moved. I was meticulous re-mounting, and have had no issues since, including a 2000 yard match of 60 shots.

I have the XTR rings on both my Open , and F-TR rifles . Not even the beginning's of a problem in over three years , and thousands of rounds . Wish my barrels lasted as long , and performed as well . :D

Aside from the slightly bulkiness, I’m also a big fan of the XTR rings. They work well. The clamping screws also make for a cleaner look, vs than the cross bolt & nut on the non-insert models.

I would probably skip the zee rings ans go with something similar like fursniper mentioned. I like seekins rings on my bolt guns, and i use adm mounts on my ARs. There are many more good options out there, i just wouldnt use the zee rings on something inplan on taking out that far. Also, With a 300win mag you probably wont "need" the 20moa base, but if you have it use it.

If they can take the recoil from a 12 gauge with 3” slugs they will hold on a rifle. My Rifles wear them and I really like them. You don’t have to worry about them holding with proper installation plus you don’t have ring marks

I use them on a Custom 700 in .340 WBY. this is a 10 lb Hunting rifle. Have never had a scope jar loose or change of inpact with them. I don't use inserts!
