CZ 455 trigger replacement

there are many way to clean up the cz 455 trigger. i tried several different one. but the ace hardware 144 spring change worked the best. i am at 2 1/4 pounds with no creep with just a spring change. i could not get the timney trigger to stay set on weight. it kept going heavy on me, from factory set at 2 pounds to over five pounds. did it once during a match. before the match was over i could not stay on target because of the heavy trigger pull. worked with timney and tried two other new trigger from them with the same results. dropped in the 144 spring and never looked back. yo dave and rifle basix works well too. but hard to beat a trigger job for under $0.75 cents.

Any reports on the fly weight triggers??????

Phil.
I was looking for a trigger replacement for the CZ 455 and ran across this year old thread with no response to Phil's question, plus the trigger on the cz website is listed as out of stock.

Does anyone have any comments or suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!

I have been trying to buy that mcfly trigger for my CZ 455 for awhile. They sell out within minutes of being restocked. They are always out of stock it seems. Sign up for the email notification when they are back in stock and drop everything when you get the email or they are GONE!

Thanks! I've signed up for the notification. Glad to hear they are at least making them.

Still hoping for comments from those who have these hard to find trigger upgrades.

I really like the Mr fly trigger. If I had to guess, I'd say it's around 3oz. Just a tic heavier than my jewels on my bench guns. I think I could get it lower but I just quit playing with it after about 10mins. Just wanted to go shoot it. Ill add a few oz's to it since its a varmint rig. I really didn't have a problem with the factory trigger set at about a lb. Just came across this trigger after having been told they're great.

Thanks! My major interest in this trigger is as a two stage tactical style. Any comments in that application?

I don't see why it wouldn't do well in that application. I haven't played with the settings that much, however, currently there is little if any perceived take up in the first stage. There is a chance I have pushed the limits of safety. I slammed the bolt just a couple times before I went to the range without issue. I mean to go through the paces when I get time. I'm guessing as I add sear engagement some take up will become present. No concern for me.

Thanks holstil! Not wanting to use it for competitive shooting at this point just really like 2 stages for safety and it helps me concentrate better on that last little bit. From what I've read lots of people are using the trigger just as you describe. Really appreciate the input!!
