CVA Cascade Rifle -- Opinions?

A friend of mine is looking at one .. wondering if any of you have any experience with one, if so what your thoughts are?

I'm interested in knowing if the action is a R700 "tribute" or just what.

from looking at their website, here is a few things. Has a 3 lug bolt with sliding plate extractor. A short 70 degree bolt throw. Barrels manufactured by Baraga in Spain. Trigger is an adjustable that looks similar to a Remington. Rear action screw is forward of the trigger guard like Savage. Trigger guard, floorplate and magazine all appear to be plastic. Bolt release is installed into the rear of the action

yes but they suggest that you buy theirs

Bergara USA was owned by Blackpowder Products, Inc. (BPI) near Atlanta several years ago when I had a warranty claim. Seems like they also owned CVA and several others at that time.

Edit: Google says they still do.

thank you for all of the info, when he asked me i said i havent heard much on there new bolt action.. but i know several people with the single shots and they are very happy with them..
