This rifle has a typical factory stock, except it has been refinished with over a dozen coats of Tru Oil!! When I post pictures, you will be able to see the glossy finish, which is far shinier that anything the factory has ever done.
Secondly, it has a factory trigger reworked by Karl Kenyon to a much lighter weight of pull than normal. Karl said it was almost as good as his custom model, which was very good indeed! The custom models have not been available since Karl quit making them close to a decade ago, at that time, they cost about $400.00!
Thirdly, the rifle has a Hart barrel in typical Winchester heavy pattern engraved, HART RIFLE BARRELS, so it fairly recent, as older guns were engraved with names of various family members.
I'm asking $1,800.00 as a new barrel will cost about $500.00 a modified trigger, no longer available from Kenyon, but others can do this work is about $150.00. Gun prices very widely, but most are north of $1,000 amd I'm not talking about a CMP beater.
