SELLING Custom shrouds for Bat actions

I have these shrouds made to my specs. They are over sized so they have to be fit to the bolt. They also incorporate a unique node design that allows the spring to clip over the end, keeping it from touching the firing pin. I have been fitting shrouds to actions for years now and it makes a real difference on target. It allows you to achieve a bind free situation without slop. A loose shroud fit requires more clearance in the whole system to work well. I have shared the nose design with Bat and most likely you will see it in the future from the factory. These have a full length id diameter which I recommend leaving that way. Do not drill them out. Keep in mind, these need fitting by a good smith. Thats the whole point. They are not drop in. $100 shipped.20240813_155047.jpg

Guys, I only fit these on my builds and barreled actions, I just dont have the time to do more than that. Sometimes I will do a full action, but that depends on my work load. Im really trying to get my lead times down for my customers so I have to limit what I take. I am only selling off some surplus because I have some new ones coming. I do not normally offer this stuff, I keep it in house. So when this batch is gone they are gone.

Alex...what type of stainless? That's a good idea centering the spring.
Thanks. Not that the springs rub much at all on Bats, but it is a small improvement. I have done this over the years just by turning the nose down a little. You can do it on any shroud. Im not sure on the type of steel off the top of my head. Id have to check. Its not critical.
