custom made .308 bullets?

Is there anyone that makes custom match .308 bullets in 155,155.5 or 175grns that is not berger, sierra or the like. I have a dear friend that builds his own bullets for his 30br, but I'm looking to try out someones that i can compete with in f-t/r and the like for my .308. Not saying that I don't like the name brand stuff, I just know that there are some great bullet builders out there that need to get their name out. Really just a thought. Plus I am not the greatest of shooters, but I try.

I believe that Bob Cauterucio still makes some 30 cal bullets. Search the forum with his name and posts will show up with his phone number. You could also post a WTB on the classifieds here. I got some 30 cal 220 grain Cauterucios from a forum member. His bullets are excellent. Another choice would be the Swampworks JLK bullets. Also excellent bullets.

Just a quick note I make 308 and 6.5 VLD'S in flat base or rebated boat tail all J4 jackets

Dennis: In 6.5 I make a 14 Ogive VLD in a rebated boat tail open tip in the 308 I have a 14 Ogive RBT in a Aluminum Balistic Tip its a flat shooter for long range. Have most weight's. CS

Jim Dietlen makes some pretty good bullets in 30 cal. Cant remember were he located.

I cant say enough good about Jim Dietlein. He makes rebated boattail in 135 to 190 grains.
