custom .311 bullets

I inherited a custom .311 7.62x39 14" Contender barrel and a few rds of ammo for it. I have no idea what the rate of twist is, the label on the box says, 7.62x39, IMI brass, 145 gn rebated boattail JSP, Fed primer, AA1680 powder and I can't make out the weight for sure. The bullets are custom made and have a long tapered ogive, they look like Sierra 155 gn Palma bullets with a rebated boattail. From a Ransom Rest, I put 10 rds in the same hole at 50 yds. Does anyone make anything close to this bullet? Either custom made or commercial.

do the bullets measure .311 or .308? Ive heard of shooting 308s in a 311 bore and having great results. I did a search for 145 gr jsp most came up as 284 dia.

Sierra does make a few .311 bullets . I use the 174gr SMK in my standard Mosin-Nagant's , and I think Hornady does make several lower weights of .310 & .311 bullets . Lapua still makes a 185gr rebated boat-tail called a D-46 , but not available on this side of the pond in lighter weights that I know of . At least my book doesn't show any below 185gr . Hope this helps .
