culling the accurate cases?

http://www.gunauction.com/search/displayitem.cfm?itemnum=7309186

I purchased this M1917 Remington for $120.00, thinking no one could build anything so ugly with out knowing what they were doing, with little risk because of the parts, I won. I loaded 12 different loads of 10 rounds each with different powder, cases and bullets with total disregard to loading for accuracy, with mount, rings and scope, I went to the range, because of cooling problems it took all day.

The groups, all groups could be covered with a quarter, some groups shared the same hole, conclusion, I applied the ‘leaver policy’ I left-er the way I found-er.

Then there were the forums, though not intended, they keep the price down and after bad reviews no one would dare bid on it, UNLESS! they knew what they were doing, anyhow, I was the only one that claimed I was bidding on the rifle.

That is the ugliest rifle I have ever seen.

I would rather miss with a good rifle, than hit with that "thing".

My grandkids use an expression that would go well with that rifle. " WTF??"

As for culling cases, I was at the range last week and a BR shooter was explaining to me how he would take a case that tossed out a flier and immediately reload it, shoot it again, and if it didn't go to the same POI as the other "good ones" in the trash it went.

Again, he left out the most important part, when he, as a bench rester knows, if he did not index the case before ejecting he is just wasting your time, and his.

Mention this, and a lot of other OCD practices to him and then stand back and prepare for a long tirade of why he thinks most a waste of time.

Who am I to argue with him. Read about Ted here.

BTW, I shot with him this AM and he sat there for a couple of hours just regularly shooting 3 Round "One Hole" groups at 300 yards. No wind flags, no thermometer, barometer, etc.
