CRC - It's Official!

Good for you guys! I always wondered why not. Good luck boys!

Anxious to find out. I know how deceiving Byers can be.
It's all over the place. Switchy is not strong enough a word.

BTW: Ben Avery is a tricky little wind factory too. Nothing all over the valley down here and BA is churning nonsense.

the only time I saw "calm" conditions at buyers was during the first 2 days of the nationals in 2015 ??
There are rare times that it is calm at Byers but then the mirage is usually bad. It is possible to shoot small groups there however on occasion.

News Flash:

After discussions with some of our long term CRC shooters and with a minimal amount of deliberation on my part, I have revised the target format for our 2020 season. As our winds traditionally build as the day progresses, ALL matches will be set as 2 targets with a shoot off to help level the playing field for all relays. The IBS posted schedule should reflect this revision after the 1st of January.

PS: It has been great to hear from the many western state shooters who have contacted me over the last several days. We are looking forward to shooting with you all!

Jerry, I think Jaime will send you my email and contact info, but if not I can PM it to you. I will try to attend as many of these as I can! I made it out a couple times this year.

August
good luck Jerry & CRC crew the season will be hear before you know it, I love road trips...

Shawn Williams
August is starting to look like a busy month Shawn. I’m planning on making your match in the first of the month and be back home in plenty of time to pull off our two day get together down here in Colorado. Chances are good that we can get a contingent of CO shooters up there this year. Currently at least four on the list.

The CRC range can indeed be fairly brutal regardless of what discipline you're shooting, but if you guys had been shooting a BR match yesterday, there would have been some nice groups shot. Beautiful readable conditions! As bobm said earlier in this thread, there are plenty of calm days out there, it just doesn't usually happen on match days!

Saturday was a calm day too. Excellent day for testing.
