Lucky Dusty!

Haven’t used it yet, but customer service is A++++.
Greg stands behind his products, buy with confidence.

I hope he sent me a good one. Mine is coming on a real slow boat. Im going to give it a good test and let everybody know. I have an example of every good priming tool ever made so we’ll see how it stacks up.

Very kind gesture by @orkan to discount the tool cost for two site members! Perhaps they would be willing to participate in an upcoming “Special Discount” program conducted by the @Forum Boss in the future? I’m not a marketing guy, but know that having a lot of users speak highly of a product has to be good for sales:D!

I'd be happy to participate.

Sir,

Just for curiosity sake I would like to know which model/type of powder drop or scale that you use?

Thank you
Looks like in that pic is a chargemaster. I use that, a harrels, neil jones, rfd, and redding br30 or rcbs uniflow according to what im doing

it's kind of funny that with all the variations in the outside of the case, how can you set something to seat a primer without crushing some a couple of thousands and ruining accuracy? I learned to seat by feel, and it is impossible to set up a one size fits all seater. weather it is a hand held seater for 50.00 or less or a 600.00 one...... jim

The relationship between the top of case rim and bottom of primer cup is quite good on quality brass. Operations can be performed to make it even better.

Still, unless you’ve used our tool... it’s difficult to understand.

So can you tell us what makes your tool better than seating by feel? Like most top benchrest shooters do?

Who ever said I wanted to force people to seat without feel?

Whichever way you want to seat primers, by feel or by precise setting... the CPS will let you do it better than any other tool on the market. You can "feel" much more with our patented drive system that provides a constant feeling throughout the entire seating process, than you can with a lever/cam driven system which changes force applied to the primer depending on where you are in the stroke.

I have my own personal feelings on whether seating by feel or precise setting is better, but in the design of the tool it was not necessary for me to force my opinions on others. The CPS is simply much better, no matter which way you prefer to seat primers. If you want to do it by feel, you can feel more than any other tool. If you want to do it by setting, it has the most precise settings of any tool available.

This is correct^^
I seat by feel and the cps allows you to do that. I can also uniform the pockets with one of my cutters and set the stop and feel the exact same crush every time. Ive only played around with 100 cases that really didnt matter to get a technique down and its a good tool.

@Dusty Stevens Just a quick tip for you, as well as others that are using the tool for the first time:

All of the mating surfaces where all the various parts of the CPS come together will take anywhere from 200-500 cases primed before the most absolute precision can be achieved. All of the various surfaces will experience some compaction, and it's not uncommon to see somewhere between 2 and 5 thousandths of depth change during those first few hundred cases. You'll be able to stay on top of it easy due to the fact that it will always be going one direction, and you may need to add a click or two every hundred or so pieces to maintain consistency. Tight pocket brass will wear things in faster than loose. Once all of the stacked tolerances are properly broken in... the tool will really stun you on how consistent it can be. Once that initial break-in is done... users report tens of thousands of cases primed with no adjustments necessary.

Obviously if going by feel... none of that matters.

The 21st century primer seater is.00125 per click, you will obviously have more feel when you are holding the tool in your hand vs mounting to a bench?

Im not going to argue that since i use a 21st mostly, but youll be surprised how much feel you get from a cps as solid as it is. Im not going to say just yet if its the same until i use it some more but i can feel scratches from my uniformer tool in the sides of the pocket
