Coyote skinning

Hey Butch,
Was going through some photos today and found this one from about 46 years ago when I was working the trapline full time. This is a days catch and was about to skin them all right there. Would hang them in that hackberry tree and go to work. Damn glad I don’t skin them anymore! That is a stinky job but I was used to it back then!
Trying to get a time to come visit you and Charlotte. Things might slow down soon and my son might get a break and fly me over there!
You and Charlotte have a great evening!
BTW… 45.2 grains of IMR 4350 with a 140 grain Nosler shot fabulous today in the 7-08 AI! Shoots basically in the same group with 41.5 grains of TAC!

I shot a big male one winter, drug him back to my mini van, & threw him in a plastic tote in the back. Made it a couple miles and he stunk up the van so bad, I decided he needed to find his own ride home. Pulled over & tossed him in the weeds.

There was a very good video years ago titled ‘The two minute coyote’. The guy pulled a coyote out of the freezer, let it thaw and case skinned it in less than two minutes. He went over one step by step first. It helped me a great deal in skinning out all manner of fur bearers. Pretty simple method and worth the watch if you can find it.
