This guy was shot at around 150-200 yards??? after a short stalking threw the ditch. I love the way the 243 put them down!! Lee

Good looken Illinois dog Lee here is a picture of the one I shot today 1 section north of the CO-OP tanks at around 400 yards.The old rem 223 sure will surprise you of it knock down power....

Ya Jim that's a heck of a poke with the 223! Good shooting!!! I was having to many run-offs with my 223, so i quit using it. I guess its all about shot placement. Lee

I'm with you. I was getting run offs on long shots with the various .22s. Switched to a .243/.243AI and now everything drops like an anvil fell on it. Not fur friendly, but with pelt prices so low, I don't care.
