Course of Fire Set

When the weather settles, we will shoot the Dasher test at the Copperhead Cove. Although the date is not set, the course of fire has been. There will be three shooters (Ricky Reeves, Rusty Durham, and yours truly) shooting three different rifles which are chambered in 6mm Dasher. Each shooter will shoot the three rifles, first at 300 yards, then at 600 yards. The rifles used are a Panda, a custom barreled 40X and the Stiller "Mutt. The owner of each rifle will provide his pet load for all three to shoot. I will list the loads and accuracy after the shoot. I once owned the Cobra (Mutt) but sold it to Rusty. I now shoot the Panda. Here are pictures of two of the rifles, but I don't have a picture of the 40X yet.

What are y’all trying to prove? Best shooter?

Al, have you shoot yourself in the foot? Did you sell of a more accurate rifle than you now own? I hate it when that happens My work partner and I were headed for WY and CO to hunt, he wanted me to work all weekend on a project and told me he had a rifle I could have if I helped Saturday and Sunday. As we were sighting in for the trip it was discovered that the rifle I got for working shoot tighter groups than his Belgum Browing. He sold it and bought a Weatherby.

Since three shooters are all shooting each gun, I guess we are seeing which gun and load is best. Mainly, we are just out having some fun.

So, What if one guy shoots all of them best, but not in the order of what the others shoot best. Shooter #1 finish with the best groups with rifle C, A, and B in that order. Shooter#2 has the second best agg with Rifles B, C, and A, and the shooter with the 3rd place agg shoots A, B, and C.
