Corrosion concerns with safe in laundry room

My gun safe is currently in a dedicated workroom. We may be moving and I might need to locate the safe in a large utility room that has a washer and dryer. All air conditioned.

How worried would you be about moisture causing metal corrosion inside the safe?

*If* the drier is properly vented and *if* the room is properly conditioned, it won't be an issue.
Most houses have issues with one or both.

On any occasion I've had to purchase a new home, I've been absolutely horrified at some of the things I saw.

In some instances, I needed an 11 foot pole. That's what you need when you wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

You might want to put one of those ~10W "gun safe heaters" into the safe to be on the safe side and lower RH...

Don't know what part of the country you're in, but I suspect the RH will be higher in summer, but A/C should help.

I've had a Goldenrod in a gun cabinet for 40 years. I never had any issues with rust on or in a firearm. Now that I think of it, I've treally got to check to see if that rod is still working. Hmmm lol

I had this Safe in the Utility Room years Back. My Safe was off the Floor on a three inch lam board.
I had those Beam Bags for moisture, no rust on the Guns.
The thing that did happen, cleaning my rifles in that room was $$$.
The cleaning solvents eat away on the vent pipes on the Hot Water Heater and Furnace. $$$$

I use the rechargable evadry desicants. I noticed there was a differance in how often I had to recharge them between safes. In looking for the reason I found one safe was sealed with weather stripping and the other was not. I added weather stripping to the second safe. The safe is now sealed better and the evadry now last longer.
