Cooper 36

I came into a new (unfired) Cooper model 36 with very low two digit serial number.Don't know much about these rifles. Anybody can give any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dennis

You might want to post this in the Cooper forum on rimfirecentral.com, lots of Cooper knowledge there.

The model 36 was introduced in 1991 in 22LR rimfire repeating bolt actions only. They have free floating Wiseman/McMillan hand-lapped chrome molly barrels. In 1992 they used Shilen barrels and added a single-shot target action BR model for rimfire. The action has 3 lugs. Stocks have glass bedding for the action. In 1994, they made only a few 36 actions in centerfire in 17CCM, 22CCM and 22 Hornet.
