I have noticed that when I get the warning, if I close the warning, then tap on another link to one of the threads, I don't get the warning anymore.Go figure....

I’ve been getting that oops message for a few weeks on my iPhone. It seems to be mostly when I use the back button and refreshing the page clears it.

Same here, but on android.

I'm having a problem on Android that tells me I must accept cookies to continue to use this site, but i added accurate shooter to the exception list and I still get this,warning.View attachment 1740945

Accurate shooter forum are the least of your worries, they are collecting data for website analytics. This is the only website that I have ever used that has exactly 1 tracking technology. If you go on to any website you are being tracked and bombarded by cookies and other intrusive crap.

I was using norton VPN last year and my subscription expired and I never renewed. Didn't know about the VPN here. Definitely need to renew mine or find a good free one.

Duck duck go...hit the fireproof button to fireproof the site.Then once you hit the fire button...it clears everything but your sign into that site. All I have run for 3 to 4 years now.

As we have explained in various threads, we do NOT allow VPN, TOR, Proxy, or Apple Private Relay.

The Reason is very simple — criminal scammers use these services to mask their location. Then they go to the classifieds and/or send DMs and try to steal money via fraudulent sales.

The blocking of VPNs etc. is a vital first line of defense against scammers. The use of VPNs also alerts us to attempted account hacking.

Now if I could just get our members to actually pick up the &@#% phone and make a VOICE call before sending money, we might be able to allow VPN.

Always thought that those so worried about tracking cookies are the same ones who routinely put their phone number and address into public posts... but I digress.

Cookies aren't always bad. Cookies are needed to verify the device, account, identity, preferences, log in, browser, OS, everything needed to help the platform perform at its best. Yes, there are advertising, targeting and "lists" which generally you can opt out of on nearly any site.

Forum Boss: We have NEVER ever shared information about our members with any third party -- no names, no location, no emails, no IPs. One reason we do not send out a newsletter is we do not want a third party delivery service to have the emails of members.
