Converting a Rem trigger to three lever

Has anyone converted a walker style Rem 700 trigger to a three lever design? The pictures I've found online make it look pretty simple, just looking for anyone that has done this. Thanks guys

I did it once about 10-15 years ago with a "kit" of pieces from Jard.

Afterwards, I wished I hadn't done it. The original trigger was just as good, or better.

I guess there is more than one way to skin that cat, but for the cost of an aftermarket trigger that was engineered specifically that way, not retrofitted or altered into something else, I can't see why somebody wouldn't just buy the aftermarket trigger and be done with it.

I agree, a shilen comp or even the new thre lever rifle basixs triggers are cheap enough to not even mess with this. I just have a few triggers laying around and was curious. I can stone and tune them to an easy 2lbs or under with no creep, no over travel just looking for a new project for fun....

A long as you have time for mental masturbation, Ottesons's little booklet " Benchrest Actions and Triggers" has a whole chapter wherein he dissects several three lever conversions from back in the B. J. ( before Jewell) era and compares their performance at the 3 oz pull level.

Bottom line is it even worth it? Or just keep doing 2lbs triggers for hunting guys? Or tell them to buy an aftermarket trigger?
