For all we know banks are being told not to do business(capital investment) with the ammo/firearms manufacturers, just like petroleum producers are being cut off financially(under direction of the Biden administration). No capitol investment in a tight margin business, means no production. And every manufacturer is in a tight margin situation because costs change over night due to inflation, all of this is intentional. Has been since the first stimulus checks, infrastructure spending in '09.
For God sake, the petroleum producers are not being cut off from financial areas due to Biden. If you run out of toilet paper, it's probably his fault too, I assume.

This is simply wrong they are indeed being told not to have any dealings with any kind of fossil fuel business's....

We continue to experience the ramifications of the "just in time" inventory and manufacturing system. Whoever originated this scheme needed a swift kick in the nuts. WH
Will,
you can thank the Japanese Kiasan system that Toyato implemented in the 80's to drive there ascension in the ranks of the Automobile manufacturers. As a result of their incredible success, everyone try to implement a version of their own version if not duplicating Toyota. Was mostly a shell game, but took years for the house of cards to fall.

I got to see JiT in action at the corvette factory. As the car rolled by the delivery truck dropped off the seats and whatever other part. They said at the first of the tour as a car was starting down the line the seats werent even stitched yet. The fines and penalties of not having that jit item sitting there as the car rolled by was so severe it would sink most companies. That puts the burden of inventories on the part manufacturer not the final customer. Brilliant really. Jit has nothing to do with shooting supplies but i like the model. Nobody drops off powder in the back as you walk in the front. :D
Been there several times myself. sometimes on the end of the customer complaint and the threat of serious fine if the investigation did not go your way. we had every corvette original equipment tire in the world in our Lawton warehouse for a long time that was not on the Bowling Green floor. also had most of the replacement tires in our warehouse as well, we would allocate some to regional warehouses for the folks that replaced their tires. we used to have a bundle of 4 tires with a sequence # loaded in the trailer that would be unloaded and that sequence would match a vehicle being built on the line - crazy scheduling. the museum across the street was a must see!!!!! not sure it reopened after the accident. to Dusty's point - if you shut down a car manufacturer's line as a result of your malfeasance it runs about 1000.00 per minute - may be more now. if you shut down one of our rubber mixers we charged 25000.00 per hour!!!!
