Hard-to-Find Hodgdon Powders -- Arrived today

We just received this info from site sponsor Precision Reloading . I went to the site and comfirmed the availability of 8-lb jugs of Varget and H4350 as of 1:25 pm Pacific time April 27, 2015.

Have at it boys...

Just thought I would let you know we received a Hodgdon Powder shipment this morning. With some of the hard to find/popular powders on it.

100 8-lb jug’s of Varget
50 8-lb jugs of H4350
50 8-lb jugs of H1000

100 1’s of Retumbo
Longshot 1’s & 8’s
Limited Titegroup 4’s & 8’s

Along with an assortment of other Hodgdon, Vihtavuori, & IMR. Alliant powders are still very soon coming in.

I went to a local store Saturday and they had a BUNCH of powder!. Just for the heck of it I counted the cans. 88 cans on display. Of course they didn't have the powder I needed. LOL.

I had noticed plenty of powders in local stores in NV many months ago. But still zero 22 LR and 22 WMR except what they can sell out in 2 hours after the weekly delivery (limited quantities per customer.) Anyone seeing 22 LR on store shelves?

I don't understand why certain regions of the country can't find certain powders... My local store has so much it would give a normal man a hard on!!! I've made a point for the last year to buy a couple pounds of either Varget or H4350 every month I go by there.. I have noticed though that H4350 has been absent from his shelves for the past couple of months but he has 100lbs plus of Varget 1lber's in stock... He has every IMR type you could think of... The one thing he does to keep a great supply is, is he is nice to whomever he's dealing with on the phone.. They will hold things for him..They deliver once a month to his store and his certain supplier for some reason always has the best stock... I think the powder companies are purposely selling to the areas of the country that seem to sell or buy the most.. I'm in the southeastern part of the US.. Plus, "southern hospitality" goes along ways!!! I wished I knew how to take a picture of his stock and post it up here..

I also feel that certain vendors are hoarding H4350 and Varget for themselves!! If you will notice certain vendors never have them two powders in stock, ever... And, you will also notice that them certain vendors have their own shooting teams or shoot a lot themselves... They keep what they get, when they get it, I believe....

I got about 4 good supply stores here in central ark and ive never seen anything i couldnt get at those places except 205m primers. They have every other flavor except the gold medals. I needed some imr 4350 a few weeks ago and they had 1&8lb of imr and hodgdon on the shelf. Same with varget. So i took exactly what i needed and left the rest for the next guy. Never seen a glitch in their supply or a limit on sales. I guess they got good distributors or look ahead better than most

I bet if you ask the owner you'll find out they take delivery off the vendors truck once a month!! That is if the truck I'm speaking of drives that distance instead of mailing... I bet our guys buy from the same place! Like stated earlier, "Southern hospitality goes along ways!!" LOL!!
