Considering 7 SAUM build, barrel length?

Hi,

Looking for input from anyone with experience in this chambering. Wanting to build a 7 SAUM repeater, probably on LA so I can seat the bullets out a bit. Will a 180gr stabilize in a 22"-24" barrel? Would a .284 Win or .284 Shehane be better or worse??

The 180's will stabilize in a 16" barrel if the twist is right....
I imagine the .284 will outlive the 7 MM saum barrel wise..

No clue on the velocity, don't get to do that much these days..
Seems none of the many deer had a problem with that 'O)
