Conquest scope tube

I have been looking at the Conquest line and have been thinking of purchasing 1 for hunting. I have heard alot of good things about them and the glass that is in them. I usally use Leupold and Bushnell Elites and would like to try something different. I was looking at 1 that was silver for sale on a forum and was wondering if they are made from a 1 piece tube or not. It just kind of looked from the picture that it may not be. If it is not made from a 1 piece tube what are your thoughts on this good or bad. Thanks..........DAN.............

Dan: I've had the Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x for several years now, and am very happy with it. Excellent glass, sharp, bright, and clear. Very well built. Sometimes wish it were 1/8 moa adjustments, but I limit the 20x to 400 yd. max., so really, no big deal. Gotta be extra careful when making click adjustments, since they are "backwards" from the Leupolds, Redfields, NF, etc. Tube is one piece. Screw-on lens covers are not available but "Butler Creek" makes the proper sizes for both eyepiece & objective. Side focus works 100% perfect. Some complain about the rather limited range of adjustments for windage & elevation, but I use the Burris Signature Zee rings with the off-set inserts, so was easily able to get it sighted-in, keeping the windage centered and the elevation favoring up clicks. Sunshade is pricey at $57. ;)
