Congratulations to forum member gunamonth, Dave Berg, for the performance of the day and year at today’s St. Thomas Groundhog Shoot Championships that was well attended by over 120 shooters. Dave set the all time high score for the Deer Rifle Class with an amazing 89 out of a possible 90 points. That means his factory 243 Browning Boss was able to place 8 of his 9 scoring shots into an .8” 10 ring at 200 yards. Going perfect 2 of the 3 relays. He walked away with $250 for the highest score in Deer Hunter class for the year, $200 for winning today’s Deer Class, the regular Deer Hunter Class payout, & probably the 50/50 too.

St. Thomas finished the year with an average of 26 shooters for 27 Tuesday shoots and a 54 shooter average for the monthly Saturday shoots not counting today. Hope to see all the old faces and a lot of new people next year.
