It's very much a problem. They have devastated the deer population in much of the northern half of the state. MN has more wolves than any other state in the lower 48, all concentrated in the upper 1/2 of the state where habitat is suitable. Our DNR and liberal government have zero interest in managing the wolf population.I don’t know if it’s still a problem, but wolves in Minnesota accounted for missing bird dogs for grouse hunters. Not sure that I would go into the woods unarmed where these apex predators existed.
