I can tell you AR Comp fills up a 223 case more at the same charge weight and causes more pressure. The kernals are also heavier than 4895 by a good bit. It shoots good though.
I tested AR-Comp against the now banned in the UK H4895 in a long-freebore 223 F rifle and also found it rather 'quicker' than the Hodgdon grade. Very consistent results though, and an excellent powder. In the UK it is eye-wateringly expensive, assuming you can find a tin. Results here:
