Cold bore shot

Is there any knowledge on getting that cold bore shot to group with the others? We are talking the first shot from a fouled barrel. I have read coating like moly help? I would not think this would be a barrel stress issue as one shot would not add that much heat to a barrel.
Thanks

Some, I seem to remember David Tubb, thought Boron Nitride bought his first shots into the group better.
I am sure this was using a clean bore. Go to his website and ask him.

I have had great luck using Kroil as the final cleaner. I have complete confidence my first shot is "in the group"- but then again, the rifles (actually, my abilities) I'm shooting are only half MOA at best.

I use David Tubb's Boron Nitride coating. Don't care what condition barrel is in the cold bore shot is in the group. It's simple to apply, no mess ,it doesn't out gas till over 2000 degrees and is slippery than moly and clean your barrel like you normally clean. Find his website and there are a couple videos.
