Coaxial Rest

I on the fence about buying a coaxial front rest, need to be pushed over one way or other.
Right now I am using a D.R. Greenlaw with windage top, it is a nice heavy rest with plenty of adjustment but I find myself using the rear bag for adjusting rather than the rest.
I am specifically looking at a Farley, please don't try to sway me to a Seb as I like to try and buy only U.S.A. made products.

If you are not certain whether you need a coaxial front rest, you probably do not. I used a Caldwell Rock (modified to remove the slop) for a few years, before switching to a Farley. My groups are no smaller in good or steady conditions. When the conditions are constantly changing, the Farley allows me to go to the sighter target and back to the record target much more rapidly.

You did not mention what type of competition you are involved in. Pure bench, then the coaxial rest is not that important. Look to improve your bag set up and insuring the rifle tracks well may be more important. If for example f-class, then the coaxial rest is a huge advantage.

You can't go wrong with Farley, their support is fantastic! Works great. Owned one for 5 years. Tried the others, Farley wins.
