Clickers

Alex,
I got notified yesterday when this hit you tube and I already shared it on a post about clickers!... Thank you for the detailed video

Is there a hitch in the process when you open the bolt or is it one smooth action? Also how audible is it if one is wearing heavy/ear protection?

Thank you I had no idea. That explains so much about my "problems". Im my 15th or so load for my 308 lapua brass.
Well i manged to wear the camming surface on my rem700 bolt too but that is becasue I was taught how to run a bolt gun by a Marine:)
I run my bolt "gingerly"

Sounds like a reason to FL size every time.

Paging @Erik Cortina LOL.

Also a good reason to have a small base or ring die. Hopefully custom dies prevent a click, but if we ever do get it, a small base or ring die can fix it. And no, as many of us have seen, small basing/ring basing does not hurt accuracy. It doesn't even change the tune.....

Good video information. Thanks for posting. After sizing I run every piece of brass through the action sans firing pin. If I get any that are tight, they go in the scrap can. Some seem to work harden earlier than others and I've found they aren't worth saving. YMMV.
