CLEANING THROAT/CHAMBER

Hi folks,Just had a question about cleaning.I use a bore guide and Butches bore shine,as per Speedys directions,But once the bore guide is removed,do I need to get in there and clean the chamber up ?...Please give me directions. Thank you!

pick yourself up a couple chamber mops, sqirt some butchs on it, hit the chamber with it, twirl it around a lil bit.
then screw on a dry chamber mop & do the same.


i dont have a chamber rod, i just use my regular dewey rod, works fine.

Then take a bore mop, and every couple of hundred rounds,in my .308) wrap it with a patch covered in IOSSO paste and scrub the snot out of the throat by short stroking it. This will get rid of the carbon ring that can build up.

I usually make a couple of full length passes at the same time as well.
