I bought a stainless cleaning rod from a friend the other day. He dosent shoot much anymore,and sold it to me,to replace the rod I had broken,Tipton CF rod). I've heard that the stainless rod will hurt my rifling,and I've heard it won't. I use a bore guide. What is the advantage of the stainless rod? I've heard they don't pick up as much crud,as coated/carbon fiber rods. Ron

I really like the stainless rod better than the CF one. It dosen't flex as much. Ron
